Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut
The rising star maintains substantial social media presence
Kai Trump will have numerous prominent backers as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous golf courses and frequently plays against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions this year and holds position 461 in AJGA listings.
However she can get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching youth audiences.
Kai has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
